TWO-PART MASTERCLASS
Freemasonry has long been surrounded by mystery, symbolism and questions surrounding hidden meaning. Among the most enduring of these is the presence of the feminine principle; sometimes visible in early imagery, sometimes transformed into abstraction, and often interpreted through both historical and esoteric lenses. In this two-day online masterclass, we seek the hidden goddess in Freemasonry.
In these immersive two days, we examine the sacred feminine through a unique dual perspective: the historical research of Dr David Harrison alongside the esoteric interpretations associated with William Bond and related symbolic traditions.
Together, we will journey through early Masonic imagery, allegorical feminine figures, temple symbolism, sacred architecture and the evolution of symbolic language from embodied goddess forms into abstract virtues. We will also explore esoteric readings of Sophia, Shekinah, alchemical union and the idea of Freemasonry as a symbolic map of transformation and inner initiation.
This 2-day online masterclass includes:
Early Masonic imagery and feminine allegories
The transformation of symbolic language over time
Temple symbolism and sacred geometry
Sophia, Shekinah, and the feminine principle
Alchemy and the union of opposites
History versus esoteric interpretation
Symbolism as a language of initiation
This is a space for reflection, curiosity, and symbolic exploration.
Rather than offering a single interpretation, this masterclass invites you into a deeper engagement with symbolism itself – how meaning is created, concealed, and rediscovered across time. Book now.
