Stars…

Stars...mean everything to me. I find them in all areas of my life, they are a favourite symbol of mine and also connected to my origins. Stars, and specifically 8 and 5-pointed stars were also key to the Phoenicians, Mesopotamians, Etruscans, Knights Templar, the Virgin Mary and even witchcraft and freemasonry. Five pointed stars were also quite sacred (there's a hint!) in Egypt; here, often seen them on walls and ceilings of funerary sites and represented the souls of the departed. But that's not all they were...

The Egyptian hieroglyph for "Star" was known as Sba or "Saba", sometimes seen as Seba too. In my research for my upcoming books on the Knights Templar, I've gone quite far back into history

and looked at the various origins of Gnosticism. This has included a journey back into history to look at the blurry origins of secret societies in the Middle East (some connected to the Knights Templar) but also the last of the Ancient Gnostics; the Mandeans. These ancient and highly persecuted people associated with John the Baptist, like the stars, have endured an uninterrupted existence since their they emerged. Under Qur'ān ,they would be among the four (4) People of the Book; in other words religious communities that the Qur'ān identifies as following divine revelation in the form of a book. Traditionally these communities being Jews, Christians, Sabians (under which we find Mandeans) and to a lesser extent Zoroastrians. The holy book of the Mandeans is the Book of John which is attributed to their prophet, John the Bapstist, who was also key for the Knights Templar and together with Mary Magdalene, an initiator of Jesus who became a Christ (anointed one, initiate).

Interestingly, Sabians were known as the people of the "Pole Star"...which is beautiful but also highly relevant if we look at their practices and the actual name of this hieroglyph. In this journey I've taken, I've also wandered down to Ethiopia; land of King Solomon's Beloved, the Queen of Sheba (also Saba). A land that worshipped stars, with some of the oldest Christian churches in the world and where some still believe the ark of the covenant may be found.

As per the titles of my upcoming books on the Knights Templar, the "Way of the Rose" truly leads us to "The Way of the Stars". This...is possibly one of the biggest hints I can share not just about the Templars, but about the spiritual origins of humanity...
